Our staff wish you and your loved ones best wishes as 2008 comes to a close and we all prepare for the coming of a new year. This is traditionally a time of reflection (looking back), and planning (looking forward). It's no different for us. It's only been six months since we held our inaugural Member Conference and we're beginning to plan the 2009 event.

Like many of you, I get an automated email alert from Google whenever a website mentions the Archimedes Movement, John Kitzhaber, health reform, or any of several other topics I’ve highlighted. I recently got a notice about a blog that is authored by a physician who lives and practices in Elma, Washington. The blogger, ML Cohen, MD, had just heard Gov.
