Dave’s Killer Bread is a business success story, expanding from a small family bakery in Milwaukie to the best selling organic bread in the country. But the story of co-founder Dave Dahl includes ongoing battles with addiction and bipolar depression. Not all his battles were successful. Yet Dave continues to be an advocate for business, mental health, and giving ex-felons another chance.

Dave will be interviewed by Dr. Alisha Moreland-Capuia, an OHSU physician specializing in Addiction Medicine. She is developer of Healing Hurt People, a national violence prevention program; and director of the Avel Gordly Center for Healing. She serves on several advocacy boards and is a former appointee to the Governor’s Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse Programs.

Please join us for this intriguing discussion.
