On April 6, 2013, our colleagues at the Asian Pacific American Network of Oregon (APANO) will be hosting the State of Cultural Competency Community Forum and Action Plan at PCC Southeast Center. Over 100 community members from 20 different ethnic backgrounds, representing small businesses, faith leaders, health professionals and activists will gather to discuss the impact of culture on their well-being, and the efforts in Oregon to improve cultural competency in health care.
