In The Oregonian, Kelly House reports:

On Friday, the Cornelius health center that started as a volunteer clinic in a converted garage will begin the final stage of transformation into a 42,000-square-foot wellness center serving more than 11,000 patients yearly.

Staff from throughout the entire Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center system, which has outposts throughout Washington County and in McMinnville, will gather for groundbreaking on the new Cornelius Wellness Center, a $13.7 million project that will be five times the size of the current clinic on North 12th Street.
