Your Job: Keep the Legislature on Course
Three ways to get your message heard in Salem
In the midst of a legislative session with tough economic decisions to be made, it's very easy for the well-intentioned Oregonians serving in our legislature to lose sight of the goals of health reform. We have three ways to help you remind them to be bold and set a course for Oregon's future health system.
1. Lobby Day: Thursday, March 26th
There's nothing more effective than sitting down with your legislator and communicating directly. That's why we offer our upcoming lobby day, so that we can make it easy for you to get in to see your legislators and have your voice heard. Your elected officials are currently considering major health reform legislation and it is important they hear from you now. Your role is to make sure that the legislation passed in Salem actually improves the health of Oregonians and also helps our economy. Which is why we're asking you to join us on March 26th for the Archimedes Movement Lobby Day.

2. Put your name on our citizen lobbyist letter, and we will print and hand-deliver your letter to your legislators on Archimedes Lobby Day - a must-do option for those of you who can't make it to Salem.

3. Participate in the Onward Oregon action alert
We've been working with our friends at Onward Oregon to craft a message for you to send to all 33 members of the Oregon House Health Committee and the Joint Ways & Means Committee. Whether you do option 1 or 2 above, please also do this. It's a powerful way to get your message heard with just a click!
