Event Description
Thanks for responding to the meeting wizard. We will be meeting at 5 PM on Thursday, September 11th in Portland. I'm sorry we couldn't find a time that would work for everyone.
We'll be meeting at the office of the Bus Project, 333 SE 2nd Avenue in Portland's produce row neighborhood. There is plenty of free parking in the lot. Rick Ray will be at the door to let you in. If you arrive more than about 5 minutes late, please use the phone to the right of the door to request entry to the building.
You will be also able to call in, but I hope you can make it in person.
Please think about our agenda, and post your agenda suggestions as comments on this post. Previously suggested items include:
- What is the role of this committee
- How often, when and where should we meet
- Relationship to with other committees
- Archimedes Movement Newsletter to associates: frequency, content, writer/editor, policy guidelines
- Review speaker training materials
- Consider speaker training for all CLC and chapter leaders
At the most basic level, I think our tasks at this stage will be to:
a) develop and implement a strategy to increase the number of associates and members.
and b) ditto for developing regular informative/helpful communication tool(s).
