Tips for creating content
Instructions:
Our website uses a WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get) text editor. You’ll notice many buttons at the top of the editor. If you hold your mouse over the button for a few seconds without clicking, a description of the button will pop up.
Sometimes when you copy from another source the formatting causes funny symbols and generally messes up your text. To get rid of this click the eraser tool, located directly beneath the "I" button for making text italic, to erase all formatting. If you’re copying from Word, click the W button to use a special window to ensure your formatting doesn’t get messed up.
You’ll notice when you hit Enter/Return that the text editor drops you down two lines, creating a paragraph break. If you only want to go down one line, hold shift when you hit Enter/Return.
To create a link in the text, simply select the text you’d like to make the link, and click the icon that looks like three links of chain (to the right of the undo arrow). Type in the URL of the website you’d like your link to go to and click the insert button.
