Conference Scholarship Fund

Leftbank Annex

Our 2011 Conference will take place at the Leftbank Annex in Portland's Rose Quarter – photo by Joshua Seaman Photography

We do things a little differently.

Our 4th Annual Conference is coming up on November 11th and it’s all about “Working in Concert.”

We have a goal: no one who wants to attend our conference will be limited because the cost of registration is a barrier. To support this goal, we have created a scholarship fund for reduced price and no-cost conference registration. We are offering you (or your family) the opportunity to be included in the list of conference sponsors.

» Help build the scholarship fund

We also ask organizations in the community to help cover the costs of the conference by becoming an sponsor. But since we’re a grassroots organization, we thought our conference should have grassroots sponsors, too.

You can make a real difference. By funding full and partial scholarships, anyone who wants to attend can have an equal opportunity to learn, share, and move forward together. Now more than ever, we must strengthen our voice, develop essential skills, and grow this movement. The first year we used this approach close to 90 people attended with scholarship support, with most paying a portion of the registration fee themselves.

Individual sponsorship options start at $50. As an individual or family sponsor you will be listed as a sponsor in our conference materials.

As an added incentive, your name will be entered into a drawing for a free registration to the conference and the evening reception!

» Registration is now closed.
