The Fall 2016 installment of The Intertwine Alliance Health & Nature Forum series, bringing together the healthcare and conservation communities to advance the concerns of both, is less than two weeks away! Health community, conservationists and all others committed to health and/or nature, please join us Wednesday, Nov. 16, at Kaiser Permanente Town Hall. The morning’s engaging line-up will include:

  •  A keynote address about health & nature-related social disparities from Greg Wolley, training & workforce manager with the City of Portland Bureau of Development Services
  • Presentation on current health & nature research, and how access to nature relates to our region’s broader concerns, by Former Kaiser pediatrician Phil Wu and Upstream Public Health Research Manager Tia Henderson Ho
  • A facilitated discussion focusing on how to proactively incorporate these health & nature ideas into your daily work
  • Finishing up with a structured networking session to connect you with new potential collaborators

Registration and coffee starts at 8:30 a.m., with the program from 9 a.m. to noon.  The forum is free and open to the public. Please RSVP here at your earliest convenience. We look forward to seeing you there! Questions or ideas? Please email Lauren at lauren@theintertwine.org.
