Title: Will more firearms legislation make Oregon safer?

We all want our families to be safe from firearms violence, but what can Oregon lawmakers actually do to improve our safety, if anything at all? With legislative session just weeks away we want to know: what legislation might help? What legislation might hurt? What legislation has succeeded in other states and what has failed?

KINK FM is opening its Skype studio to our panel of distinguished members of the legislature and advocacy group representatives, hosted by conservative talk show host Lars Larson and moderated by David Sarasohn of the Oregonian, to discuss these important issues.

Panelists:

  • Lou Jaffe, Board member of Gunowners for Responsible Ownership
  • Ginny Burdick of the Oregon Legislature
  • Julie Parrish of the Oregon Legislature
  • To be announced

 Co-sponsors:

  • City Club of Portland, Health & Public Safety and Business Issue Forums
  • Alpha Media
